L’As Du Fallafel
So I was in paris this last month and one of my first eats was this Falafel place. So for 5.50 euros I got a big piece of pita bread stuffed with falafel, tomatoes, pickled red cabbage, grilled eggplant, onion, tzatziki sauce, and a hot sauce. The falafel itself tasted pretty good; I wouldn’t have minded if it had some more spice in it. However, the two sauce specially the hot sauce helped give more flavour. I really disliked the eggplant in it because it was to oily for me and I hate that oil taste, but my friend liked it and had all of mine. Overall for the price ( it is Paris) it was very filling and satisfying since most of Parisian food is butter, bread, ham, and cheese which for me can get so bland. I need my spice and veggies. This is also great for all the non meat eaters traveling in Paris. I would ask for more hot sauce if I had to go back!
* Falafel is like meat ball made out of chickpeas or/and fava beans and cumin ( and other spices depending on the place) are added. It is fried.
